I am proud to lead The Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Punjab Sports University, Patiala (MBSPSU) and committed to refine and revamp the state of sports and sportsmanship in Punjab. We welcome students from various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds and provide them with excellent infrastructure in sports and academics. MBSPSU, although in its initial years, has already crafted a name for itself and its constituent colleges with the diligence of qualified faculty and coaches. Government Arts and Sports College, Jalandhar is the alma mater of many award winning sportspersons and other eminent personalities. It caters to the Doaba region and is pursuing distinction and success for the youth with well-integrated course curriculum and scientific and technology oriented coaching infrastructure. Creativity and innovation are the focus areas to make the students well capacitated for national and international level competitions.I am confident that our efforts to excel in the field of higher education and inculcate the right sportsmanship in youth will continue to bring outstanding results.
